This work examines the experience of fathers caring for a child with a disability and looks at differences in resource use and health outcomes based on gender.
Disability and social work education
As a social work educator, I wanted to learn more about the experiences of students, faculty and staff who identify as disabled.
Community resources and work-life fit
I am interested in the role of community resources for families to better meet work and family demands and want to learn more about how to improve these resources.
International research
I am fortunate to have been able to interview families with disabled children in Germany and learn more about how they navigate life.
